Development Loan? |

Acquisition
and Development Loans
A
land development loan is an advance of funds, secured by a
mortgage, to finance the making, installing, or constructing
of the improvements necessary to convert raw land into
construction-ready building sites. In other words, a land
development loan takes an unimproved parcel and breaks it up
into a number of smaller, improved parcels upon which homes or
commercial buildings will be constructed.

Treasury
yields are up, up and away
OK,
not exactly. But the 10-year Treasury note yield is over 5
percent for the first time since last July. And not over 5
percent by any small margin, as it currently reads 5.09
percent. What's going on here and how long will it
