Thank you for the opportunity to share general information relating to the commercial real estate finance industry and letting you know what's new at Cornerstone Commercial Mortgage. We value your relationship and believe better communication is another way we can serve you
The collapse of the real estate market has resulted in tremendous investor casualties not seen since the great depression. In hindsight with such irrational exuberance going on why did we not heed the warning signs? I believe greed inspired us all to forge ahead with blinders on. This trial has reminded me that life is short and the material things we think we earn and deserve are really only gifts from God that can be so easily taken away.
This Thanksgiving let's take time to thank God for what's really important and that's our relationships with family and friends which really are the only things that will truly last.
There are always opportunities no matter the status of our economy, we are focused on the future, available and committed to helping our clients capitalize on these opportunities. Happy Thanksgiving

Why is there a liquidity crisis when the money supply has almost doubled in the last 2 years?
As
the old saying goes "A picture is worth a thousand words". One reason is Banks are hoarding cash
reserves. Until the government eliminates this
incentive for Bank's to stash cash, the liquidity crisis won't change anytime soon.

Zell: Commercial real estate may
recover quickly
By DAVID M. LEVITT, Bloomberg News
Thursday, November 19, 2009
The commercial property market may
recover "pretty quickly" if interest rates remain low, Equity Group
Investments LLC Chairman Sam Zell said.
Zell's remarks came in the keynote
address of Thursday's New York University real-estate capital markets
conference at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in midtown Manhattan.
"The supply scenario is so
constrained that I think the commercial side of the business is going to come
back and come back pretty quickly," he said. "I don't think you're going to see
much in the way of serious grave dancing, outside perhaps of the hotel area."

Leading a Life of Intentional Influence by John Maxwell
In the classic Christmas film, It's a Wonderful Life, George Bailey
is given a tremendous gift: the opportunity to see what life would be
like without him. As he wanders through a world that has no memory of
his existence, George is dismayed by the plight of his friends and
family. Devoid of his influence, their lives lack the warmth and
richness he is accustomed to seeing. As George struggles to come to
terms with his bleak surroundings, Clarence, his guardian angel, sums
up the lesson that he hopes George will absorb from the experience. "Strange, isn't it? Each man's life touches so many other lives. When he isn't around he leaves an awful hole, doesn't he?"
Three Basic Truths about Influence 1. Everyone has influence. 2. We choose the nature of our influence. 3. We have to work to earn the influence we desire to have.
Five Ways to Gain the Influence You Want to Have
